Organizational Structure

GEMS Girls’ Clubs consists of two distinct ministries: GEMS North America (USA and Canada) and GEMS International (all other world regions). These branches function together as the overall, worldwide ministry of GEMS.

GEMS is a non-profit, tax-exempt Christian NGO and is governed by a board of directors known as the GEMS Executive Board. This board includes ten to twelve women who currently or have previously served as GEMS counsellors.

The GEMS Executive Director and her staff are in charge of day-to-day operations at the GEMS International Service Centre located in the city of Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA.
